Riga Weather
The climate of Latvia itself is quite moist and temperate, because of the maritime influence of the Baltic Sea.
Summers usually are warm (normally starting about + 20 degrees), but the weather in Riga during spring and autumn is fairly mild.
Sometimes the winters can be extremely cold due to the northern location. For example, the temperature can keep around - 15 to -25 degrees Celcius for about a month. Cold winds and severe snowfalls often make winters more extreme.
Latvia is significant with its green nature. Due to heavy rainfalls mostly perceived in August, it has a really fertile ground. That's also a reason why you can find here various domestic and eco products.
