The Riga Urban Adventures Team is comparatively small but passionate and highly committed to develop responsible travel in Riga and Latvia. Our team is proudly claiming to be the No. 1 travel agency in Riga for off-the-beaten-track travellers visiting Latvia and Baltic States in general.
Our company is operated by local owner and since its foundation the vision has been to become a flexible inbound travel agency, which provides sustainable tourism products in cooperation with local communities.
Anda Cirule, the owner of the company, is really passionate about what the team does. She established the company while still studying Tourism Management at the Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences with an aim to create business providing leisure and business travel services in Latvia. She spends her spare time with her son and travelling all around the world. Travel is a big part of her life and she believes that no one can take away the things you’ve seen, heard and felt!
We know the “must see” places and “must do” things, because we are locals inspired by Latvia and its charm. Although it is a small country on the Baltic Sea, it has a wonderful heritage of history, culture and traditions. We are sure that Latvia is a great example of sustainable tourism destination because of its green nature, amazing integration of medieval and contemporary architecture and colourful traditions – Folk Song Festival, Midsummer Festival (Ligo svetki), and national food.
As we are committed to Urban Adventures Responsible Travel policy, our team has joined the charity project with an aim to help the local Children’s Hospital. This project came into reality after wide discussions on the Internet about an awful condition of the most important Children’s Hospital in Latvia. Up to date various concerts, bees and events have been organized to help ill children and make the hospital not so fearsome for stay at.
We are looking forward to meeting in Riga!
Let us plan you a totally local, natural and responsible holiday in Riga or any other city of Latvia you are interested in. We know the “must see” places and “must do” things, because we are locals inspired by Latvia culture, history, traditions and nature.
